A jar of Lost Insect Apiary Wildflower Honey on a wooden table at golden hour, honeycomb and wildflowers around it, beehives in the meadow behind
Raw · Unfiltered · Single-origin

Honey from
the bees that
wander furthest.

Slow, raw honey gathered from hives at the wild edges of the map. Never heated, never blended, never rushed. Just nectar, comb, and a little chaos in every hand-poured jar.

100% Raw & Unfiltered

Never heated. Never hurried.

Wild. Remote. Real.

Hives placed where nature leads.

From Hive to Jar

Small batches. Big care.

Just Honey. Nothing Else.

No additives. No shortcuts.

The Collection

Three forages. One restless bee.

Each jar is a single harvest from a single landscape, so no two seasons taste the same.

Jar of Spring Acacia raw honey

Spring Acacia

Pale gold · delicate · floral finish

The first forage of the year. Light, slow-to-crystallize, almost translucent. The gentlest honey we jar.

Jar of Wild Forest dark honey

Wild Forest

Dark amber · malty · deep & smoky

Late-season honeydew from the deep woods. Bold, mineral, almost molasses. For the wanderers.

Why raw matters

We leave the good stuff in.

Most supermarket honey is heated and ultra-filtered until it's basically golden syrup. We don't.

01

Never heated

We keep our honey below hive temperature, so the natural enzymes, pollen and aromatics survive the jar.

02

Never blended

One apiary, one season, one jar. No mixing from a dozen countries to chase a flavor that never changes.

03

Cold-strained

Gravity and a coarse cloth. That's the whole filter. The living pollen stays; nothing else gets added.

04

Fully traceable

Every lid is dated and tied to the hives it came from. You can taste exactly where your bees wandered.

Our story

One bee drifted off the map. We followed it.

Lost Insect Apiary started with a single forager that wandered three miles past the home range and came back heavy with the strangest, brightest nectar the hive had ever tasted.

So we stopped keeping bees close. Our hives live at the wild edges now, in overgrown meadows, forgotten orchards and deep woods, and the bees roam free. The honey they bring back is never the same twice. That's the whole point.

Taste the wander
Hive to jar

Four slow steps. No shortcuts.

  1. 1

    Forage

Bees roam the wild edges, weeks at a time, gathering nectar we could never plant on purpose.

  2. 2

    Harvest

We take only the surplus, by hand, leaving the colony more than enough to thrive through winter.

  3. 3

    Cold-strain

No heat, no pressure. Just gravity and time pulling the honey clean through a coarse cloth.

  4. 4

    Jar

Poured into glass, dated, and labeled with the crest. From comb to your shelf, untouched.
